What if God had a Library room, Would your story be there? Its a question I pondered last year as I reminisced through my own journal entries. The centuries of books of each moment in mankind’s history would be jaw dropping to say the least. Imagine, God pulling out a scroll and ink bottle and began to write himself! Would they be in Hebrew or an unknown tongue not yet revealed to mankind? A moment in his thoughts and heart, where the most holiest of places exist, would he write of genuine love, anger, heartbroken or judgement? We often think God is just sitting on his throne and watching mankind on earth since time began in his creation. I could not imagine God not interacting with his beloved creation and watching us ruin everything he created, only to sit back on his throne and say– “Didnt see that coming.” In God’s Library, each story, each moment, would be captured forever in God’s Library.
Imagine a library unlike any other. A library not of earthly construction, but one that exists within the very fabric of heavenly pages, a repository of all that is, was, and could be. This is the library of God – a place that invites us to ponder the infinite nature of knowledge, creation, and the mind of God Himself.
As we consider the vastness of what might be contained within God’s Library, we are reminded of the depth of human experience, the highs and lows, and the lessons learned along the way.
The stories held within God’s Library are not merely tales, but reflections of our very existence and the divine narrative that unites us all.
God’s Library: The Books of Creation
Each entry, a testament to the relationship between mankind and the divine, resides in God’s Library.
What volumes would line the shelves of such a place? Surely, the ‘Books of Creation’ would hold a prominent place. Each galaxy, each star, each planet would be detailed with unparalleled accuracy, describing its formation, its declared name, and its place within the grand cosmic tapestry. But these wouldn’t just be dry scientific texts. They would be living narratives, filled with the songs of heavenly angels, the whispers of nebulae, and the very breath of life itself.
| Titles might include: When There were No Depths The Waters are given Borders Preparing The Heavens | Each entry would go beyond mere description. You’d find the intent behind each creation, the Wisdom of inspiration that sparked God’s Hand. It’s as if the very act of God is chronicled not just as a physical event, but as a profound artistic expression of His Love, found only in the Bible. |
God’s Library: The Unwritten Stories
Beyond the chronicles of what is, the library could undoubtedly contain the ‘Unwritten Stories’ – the infinite stories that we do not know. Imagine shelves filled with his words for every branching paths of history, and countless choices of our own lives, each diverging at critical junctures. What if you had made a different choice yesterday? All these possibilities would be meticulously cataloged, offering a glimpse into the boundless potentiality of God’s Will.
God’s Library: The Book of You & Me
Perhaps the most awe-inspiring section would be ‘The Lambs Book of Life.’ Each life from yours and mine, from the smallest babe to the greatest Christian, would have its own unique volume, detailing his or her journey through existence. Not just the major milestones, but the quiet moments of joy, the silent whispers of genuine prayers, and the heartbroken moments that shape a life. Our books wouldn’t be mere biographies; they would be tapestries woven from love, loss, growth, and the eternal will for God’s ultimate purposes on ones life.. Imagine the wisdom gleaned from reading these volumes, the empathy fostered by understanding God’s love in the free will of man’s chosen intricate paths of each one’s souls. A box of Kleenex would be required, don’t you agree?
God’s Library: The Language of The True God
And what language would these books be written in? Perhaps Hebrew, or not a language we can readily comprehend. Perhaps it’s a language of pure light, of harmonic love, and of unspeakable truth that speaks directly to the soul. The very act of reading becomes a form of communion, a merging of hearts with the divine author–God. Accessing this library wouldn’t be about decoding His words, nor the mysteries of dreams and visions–but about attuning oneself to the heart of the creator Himself. I would need a case of Kleenex.
Conclusion: Reflecting on the Infinite Library
The idea of God’s library is, of course, a mere thought. But it’s a powerful one. It invites us to contemplate the sheer immensity of the universe, the staggering depth of existence, and the infinite potential that lies within each of us, The Holy Spirit. It encourages a sense of humility, wonder, and a lifelong quest for knowledge of God, understanding his will in our lives, and a connection with the Lord that should spark a wonder –If God had a Library- What would your story say?– What has He written about your life? Would we laugh or cry? Maybe all our heartfelt cries to him, impacted him so much, He had to journal it just to bottle up your tears.
Our life story is in God’s hand, He has ordered our footsteps before we could walk. He knows his thoughts that he thinks toward each one of us. I have counted it all joy, to meet each day with breath in my lungs and a purpose of worshipping him, and no matter what the day may unfold, I will walk each day with him through valleys and deep waters knowing I shall not fail.
